Abby has a brother, but always wished for a sister. She ended up with three (plus two new brothers!). For parents Erin and Brian, it was love at first sight.
What inspired you to create your MatchMade video?
I wanted everyone to see how wonderful Match is, that it really works, and to thank you for matching my mommy with Brian.
What grade are you in and where do you go to school?
I'm in 5th grade starting this year at Bobby's Run School.
What are your favorite hobbies/pastimes?
I like to play soccer and dance and also really enjoy doing gymnastics.
What are your education and/or career goals?
When I get older, I'm hoping to be a veterinarian. I always liked animals and hope to do something with animals when I grow up.
When did you know your parents "loved" each other?
My mom told me that as soon as they saw each other, they fell in love. I kind of knew the first day I met Brian, when I saw how happy he made my mom.
How has Match changed your family's life?
Abby's parents: Match helped me meet the most affectionate, caring, compassionate, and beautiful person I've ever known. Our kids now know what an honest, loving, respectful relationship looks like.
In a home where family time is their top priority, Cece's already planning the dinner menu for her parents' 10-year anniversary this year.
What inspired you to create your MatchMade video?
When my cousin told me about the contest, I got excited and talked to my parents about it. I was excited to hear about how my family became one and thought you would be, too!
What grade are you in and where do you go to school?
I'm in fourth grade at Centerville Elementary School.
What are your favorite hobbies/pastimes?
I really love to cook, bake, swim, dance and enjoy doing various arts and crafts, like painting and drawing. I have been showcased in my school's art shows!
What are your education and/or career goals?
I'd love to attend college, be on MasterChef Junior and own a school for underprivileged families where I could teach baking skills, the importance of healthy cooking and help feed the homeless
How do you know your parents are in love?
Dad misses mom when she travels for work and he always gives her hugs and kisses. Mom cooks for all of us every night, and dad protects her. My parents will always keep us together as a family.
How has Match changed your family's life?
Celetra's parents: It gave us a FAMILY! Our children have made us both better individuals. We are blessed that God entrusted us to be their parents.
Sydney's innate creativity comes from mom and dad - two very different, yet complementary people who crossed several state lines for love.
What inspired you to create your MatchMade video?
My mom's friend told her about the contest two days before the deadline. It was their idea, but it was fun! It took courage because I had never heard their story and we didn't have much time.
What grade are you in and where do you go to school?
I am seven years old and currently in second grade at Westminster Christian Academy.
What are your favorite hobbies/pastimes?
When it's hot outside, I love to swim. I sing and dance a lot when no one's watching. And I'm an artist who creates things out of objects like buttons, string and cardboard boxes.
What are your education and/or career goals?
I wanted to be a doctor or a grocery store worker, but now I want to go to college so I can be an art teacher or direct movies. Making videos is fun!
How do you know your parents are in love?
Because they got married... and because they love each other. They say "please" and "thank you" and they give each other hugs and kisses.
How has Match changed your family's life?
Sydney's parents: Living so far apart, we wouldn't have met without Match, which brought us together and allowed us to have two adorable, funny kids. We just celebrated our 10th anniversary!
